Confirmation on the credentials to photograph the Flaming Lips this Friday have come through, though the ticket situation has yet to be finalized. It may be photo pass only on this one, but that works for me. I just want to be picking confetti out of my camera bag for the next week.
Between the human hamster ball, confetti canons, animal suits, and pyrotechnics, the Flaming Lips have built the reputation as having one of the more interesting live acts currently touring, so it’s no surprise that their events always seem to produce compelling images.
After a string of great assignments, I’m looking forward to this show and finally checking this band off my list. From a Flickr search, you can see a little of the mayhem of the live Flaming Lips show.
