Nice to hear from you! It's funny, it's so easy to get wrapped up in shooting with the convenience of zooms, but primes are just so much faster, they can tackle just about any light. What you see here is much, much brighter than what was actually presented to the audience; in increasing the exposure the subject, the atmospheric haze was also affected. Understanding the conditions of these images, I rather like the look of these shots – the mood is accurate. I prefer this look to the alternatives of a darker image or one with artificial contrast added (which would result in a darker image, also). i Johnny,
