They came. They saw. They conquered. Just business as usual for Welsh metal band Bullet For My Valentine; The Bamboozle in East Rutherford was no exception.
Photographer’s Notes:
I’ve photographed Bullet For My Valentine on three other occasions, and this fourth shoot was just like all the other: a blast.
Unlike most of the times I’ve shot Bullet, who seem to love red and dim treatments, the band played in relatively nice open shade in the late afternoon. If anything, the natural light was a little flat, but dim enough that the stage lighting was balanced enough to provide some nice accents. Regardless, it was nice to have the luxury of shooting at extraordinarily high shutter speeds for all that motion-freezing goodness, since BFMV love the hair whips.
For this set, the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 and Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 did the majority of the work.
