For the inaugural Escape 2 New York Festival, I was brought onto the official photo crew by my friend Danny North, who headed up the team. Together with Danny, Guy Epel, and my brother Chris Owyoung, we all had a blast as the festival’s official shooters.
The first day of beautiful sunny weather was perfect and it was great to see the festival come alive after scouting the grounds the day before while everything was still being set up. Some musical highlights from the day included Patti Smith, the Ettes and Best Coast.
