Here’s a quick preview from Willie Nelson this past week at the beautiful Pageant. Hit the jump for two more images, including a special guest appearance by “Almost Willie.”

The lead shot of Willie Nelson was shot with the beautiful Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR. The second two atmosphere shots were made with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4. I think that shooting wide open gives a special quality to these kinds of low light shots, especially when there are background lights that provide a little interest in the defocused elements.
