I've had the privilege of being on the official photo team for iHeartRadio's annual iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas for the last 5 years. Honestly, it's pretty much a dream job to be able to photograph basically a who's who's of artists in the span of two short days. Here are some of my favorite live music photos from the weekend.
Some highlights from the weekend include U2, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Billy Idol, Cage the Elephant, Britney Spears, Sting, Pitbull, Usher, and more.

My Camera DSLR and Lenses for Concert Photography
![]() I use two Nikon D850 for my live music photography. A true do-it-all DSLR with amazing AF, fast response, and no shortage of resolution. |
![]() For most gigs, the 24-70mm is my go-to lens. Exceptional image quality at wide apertures and super-functional range. |
![]() A perfect pair to the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, I can basically shoot any job with the midrange and this lens. Superb image quality. |
![]() Ultra-wide perspective, ridiculously sharp even wide open at f/2.8. I love using this lens up-close and personal, where it excels. |
