Consider this an opportunity for free advertising.

Music photographers: I want to see your website. I want you to post a link to your work. Portfolios, blogs, Myspaces, Flickrs – whatever you’ve got.

Just a link will do.

The goal? To create a growing and diverse list of concert photographers.

Personally, I love seeing new work, and this index is not only a means for me to find fresh music photographers, but it’s a way for others to check out your work, too.

Don’t be shy; even if you post here regularly and I’ve seen your site before, it might be new to others. So link it up.

Here’s what to do:

Please just leave a comment with a link to your work below.

And after you’ve posted your link, I’d like to invite you to browse through the sites your fellow concert photographers have posted!

Tell your friends, blog about this, share it via social bookmarking. The more people who post up their website, the better this will work!

Today while checking some of the most recent plugins for WordPress, I cam across Crossroads by Duane Storey. The plugin integrates Flickr functionality to display images, from individual photos to complete sets.

While I’ve been linking to my Flickr galleries in my show write-ups, I’ll be trying out Crossroads to feature the full set from a show.

Crossroads utilizes a few different existing javascript image viewers, such as Lightbox and Highslide, and gives users the option to configure their preferred display engine.

I’ve dropped in a Crossroads gallery into my latest post on Mae’s set at the Pageant, so let me know what you think:

Mae @ the Pageant — 2007.12.11

Below is an inline demonstration of the plugin featuring a set from my Flickr titled “Don’t Forget The Drummer.” Click on a thumbnail to view the image, go to the next or previous shots using the arrow keys, and click again to close the viewer.
