For me, this show was all about trying to capture David Cook’s energy. After shooting him back in 2009, I wanted nail shots of him rocking out. With his intense style of delivery and playing, this sounds easy, but there’s always a catch. Full set of images and the shooting notes after the break.

Four images fresh from David Cook’s show at the Pageant tonight, the second stop on his co-headlining tour with Gavin DeGraw and support from Carolina Liar.

David Cook

Rolling through on his Declaration Tour, David Cook stopped at the Pageant to deliver a tight and crowd-pleasing set that pulled from his self-titled debut as well as new material, much to the delight of his fans.

Green River Ordinance

I have to give it to Green River Ordinance – even as the opening band on a three-band bill, these guys gave a fantastic performance worthy of any headlining spot.

The Script

Having heard that The Script had opened for the likes of Paul McCartney and U2, I was excited to see their set opening for David Cook. Needless to say, the group from Dublin did not disappoint in their performance, which had the crowd on their feet and winning more than a few new fans.

This one is for all the David Cook fans out there – just a preview from tonight’s show, with more to follow.
