Touring with Phil Labonte of All That Remains, Killswitch Engage rocked the Pageant in a spectacle of calculated chaos. With the stage free of monitors, mic stands, and any other distractions, the expansive stage became a playground a little metal mayhem.

Opening for Killswitch Engage and Dillinger Escape Plan, Buffalo’s Every Time I Die laid down a tight set of their signature blend of metalcore and Southern metal at the Pageant.

The Pageant is packed with kids wearing black t-shirts who all want three things: face-melting riffs, pummeling double-bass, and a guitarist who isn’t afraid to wear a cape. Headlining four performances and following Dillinger Escape Plan, Killswitch Engage delivered on all accounts with a heavy dose of melodic metal that had the pit heaving.
