For anyone growing up in the 90s, Bush is one of those bands who are indelibly part of that decade's soundtrack. Even though I never really listened to Bush as a kid, it was still a thrill to hear the band rip into some of their old material right off the bat.
Lighting was overall very good for Bush, which made things a little easier in the technical department, especially since Gavin Rossdale was almost always lit by spotlight from the front.
The only downside to spotlights at this particular venue, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, is that there's a strange flicker to them that makes the intensity and color tint vary from shot to shot. This is something that is most readily seen at higher shutter speeds, but can show up below 1/250 as well it seems.
One of the highlights for this set by Bush was Gavin Rossdale coming out from behind his mic and putting on of the ego risers to good use at the end of the third song. Nice to way finish out a quick shoot like this, I have to say.
