Opening for Tegan and Sara, DIANA was a great warm up in this shoot where I used the Nikon D600 exclusively. How did the D600 perform? Just check the full set for the answer.

I decided to give the Nikon D600 a little workout with DIANA. I figured that, at the very least, photographing the openers for Tegan and Sara with this new camera would be a safe test. Overall, I came away extremely impressed  with the D600 after this shoot.

Processing the files, I found the 24mp full-frame sensor of the Nikon D600 more than up to the task of a live shoot. High ISO performance—here mostly ISO 3200—was extremely good. AF performance was overall great, though the small spread of the AF points in the viewfinder meant that I mostly just relied on the center AF point.

Don't worry, full review of the Nikon D600 is coming this week!
