While I don't normally post crowd photos as the lead, I have to give it up to the fans present at the Story of the Year show at the Pageant this past weekend – they were rocking as hard as the band.
As frontman Dan Marsala said as he looked out over the 2,300 fans at the sold-out show, “I can already tell that this is going to be one of the greatest moments of my life.”
This was an ISO 3200 shoot all the way with f/2.8 glass. And with a band that moves around as much as Story of the Year, the flexibility of the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 was invaluable – if you missed my review of this lens, you can check out the full lens review with plenty of samples.
Stay tuned for the full set and shooting notes.
