Recently, Complex.com published an article listing “The 50 Greatest Music Photographers Right Now” – needless to say, it generated a lot of controversy in the music photography community. But for all the drama, the article does raise the point – who are your favorite music photographers?
Most notably, the Complex list left out many of the fantastic international photographers shooting concerts all over the world. I'd like to hold an informal poll here. Who are your favorite colleagues in the photo pit? Or, more generally, who do you admire in the world of music photography?
Please leave the names of your favorite music photographers in the comments.
I'd like to compile a list of the most well regarded and respected music photographers. Have your vote in the comments.
My Camera DSLR and Lenses for Concert Photography
Nikon Z 7: I use two Nikon Z 7 for my live music photography. A true do-it-all mirrorless camera with amazing AF, great speed and fantastic resolution.
Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8S: The 24-70mm is my go-to lens. The range is ideal for stage front photography and the image quality is superb.
